2001 Toyota Tundra Tail Lights Not Working
I dont know what the problem is or could be.
2001 toyota tundra tail lights not working. Ive driven in snow and ice and mud lately not sure if any of those could have knocked. The color is silver. Check for continuity from the socket case to ground.
The fuse is good. Tail lights and dash lights not working keep blowing fuse. One of the coils on one of the brake light bulbs looks broken but that means one light wont work not both lights.
Just have to order a new harness for 30 easy fix. High Beam and Flash positions work correctly. Blown out light bulbs are the most common reason for why the brake lights not working but the tail lights are.
All other lamps function correctly in the positions. I have a P2442 code. Toyota Tundra 2001 Brand New OE Replacement Tail Light by Replace.
Check that the bulbs light as required. The brake light switch circuit is completed when the brake pedal is pushed but if the switch has been pushed out of place or is not connecting properly the brake pedal may not be able to complete the circuit meaning that. One of my trailer lights is not working properly and I have determined that the pin for that light from the truck wiring harness does not have power.
You need your tail lights to be functional for safe driving so your vehicle and brake lightsturn signals. If no power at terminals then check the fuse terminal for that circuit for 12v. Both LOW BEAM HEADLAMPS do not work.
