2006 Toyota Tundra Ticking Noise
My 2006 47 DC.
2006 toyota tundra ticking noise. Have probably about 2K on the lift and all seemed fine except i just started hearingfeeling a noise from somewhere in the front. The source of the noise may be a damaged transmission coupling. How I fixed the ticking noise that developed in the motor after my oil change.
I hear it all the time and it sounds like a lifter bad rocker or a leaking exhaust manifold. Hello Toyota Nation I own a 2000 Toyota Tundra V8 and am having a clicking noise problem when I am accelerating. I have a 2006 Toyota Tundra limited 47l I bought it a few months ago since I didnt know how well the previus owner maintained I have been doing all types of maintenance to it it has 220000 miles.
The vehicle was inspected by an independent mechanic where it discovered that the front lower ball joints had started to wear. Some customers may complain about an abnormal noise from the rear of the vehicle that increases in volume as vehicle speed increases. We have only noticed the sound when it is being driven.
Abnormal Noise from Toyotas Rear Differential. Mu local dealer says its normal valvetrain noise but i have experience. Ive heard that it could be an exhaust leak.
Hot or cold doesnt change it. The V8 models can experience exhaust manifold failures. Any suggestions or other threads that have solved this problem.
What I want to ask is should i get this checked out or just leave it. Our 2006 Toyota Tundra is making a noise on acceleration. A horrible squeaking noise that goes up and down with your Tundras engine RPM should be observed.
